In May 2014, the Ukraine increased steel production to 1.2 million tons

In May 2014, the Ukraine increased steel production to 1.2 million tons, by 2.2% more than in May 2013 and by 16.5% more than in April 2014.  In January – May, steel production reduced by 11.7% to 5.490 million tons.

Semi-finished items production was 1.598 million tons in May, by 2% more than in May 2013 and by 7% more than in April 2014. In January – May, production reduced by 3.9% to 7.380 million tons.
