Trutnev: Alrosa needs to increase transparency of diamonds sale

The Vice-PM of Russia, Y. Trutnev, thinks that it is necessary to increase the transparency and efficiency of diamonds sale of Alrosa.
Alrosa sells a significant part of its products in the APR market. The Government of Russia considers reasonable to increase the transparency and efficiency of sales. We are not sure that our trade is organized in the best way, he said.
According to Mr. Trutnev, the Government is to be sure that the company brings the maximum profit.
Alrosa plans to extract 37 mln karats of diamonds in 2016. From 2017 the extraction growth is planned. In 2017 the extraction is to make up 39.9 mln karats, in 2021-41.3 mln karats.
