The start-up operations on the launch of an updated pointing machine AVS-63 has started at the bull-block shop No2 (B-2). The new equipment will enable the output of coiled tubing up to 24 meters in length for the nuclear industry, machine-building, fuel and energy sector for the first time in Russia.
The press-service of the Pipe metallurgical company (comprises OJSC “SinTZ”) notes that the project was being realized within the frame of a strategic development programme of the enterprise, aimed at an expansion of an assortment of cold-reduced tube and reduction of the technological cycle.
