By 2020, UC Rusal expects to increase the aluminum consumption in Russia and the CIS countries to 2.2 million tons. The company plans to focus on the automotive industry (this will add 0.235 million tons to the consumption), construction (0.21 million tons), transport (0.4 million tons) and the cable industry (0.183 million tons), write the Vedomosti, referring to the presentation of UC Rusal.
