Avdeevka coke chemicals plants has been attacked a few times

During the war in the East of the Ukraine over 110 bombs burst on the territory of the largest in the Eastern Europe coke chemicals plant.
On Jan 17th another artillery shelling of the Avdeevka coke chemicals plant of Metinvest group of R. Akhmetov took place. 3 workers were injured, press service of Metinvest reported.
The shells exploded on the territory of the coke shop #1, collection shop #1 and coal preparation shop #1. The coke dry-quenching unit #1 and sulphur cleaning shop #1 were damaged. The damage of the gas collection unit at the coke shop led to the possible explosion. In the extreme mode the coke gas was pumped and coke output from batteries was stopped.
