Krasnoyarsk aluminum plant will transit to upgraded aluminum production technology

UC Rusal transits its Krasnoyarsk aluminum plant will transit to the upgraded aluminum production technology of Ecological Soderberg starting from 2015. The plant was selected several years ago as the pilot site for testing of the technology and now it’s successfully completed. The main advantage of the technology is the use of colloid anodes instead of traditional anodic mass.
