This year the world market of aluminium is about to face aluminium deficit for the first time since 2006. It is due to a reduction of aluminium production, specialists from Japan Sumitomo say.
“Global consumption will exceed supply by 61 thousand tons in 2014. Aluminium surplus in 2013 made up 580 thousand tons. Aluminium deficit will increase up to 493 thousand tons in 2015,” Shingi Yamagiwa, manager at Sumitomo said.
