In April, Novolipetsk Steel (NLMK) decided to shut down production at the site in Beautor (France), which is included in the division NLMK Coating.
NLMK Coating’s management has reached an agreement with the workers for a social plan, which provides, inter alia, for support for employees in finding new opportunities for employment and financial security, the Interfax reports. "The total costs under this agreement and other costs related to the closing-down are 25 million euro, which will be incurred in 2016," - NLMK says.
