CherMK increased own power generation

The Cherepovetsk Iron-and-Steel works, one of the world’s largest integrated plants on steel production (part of “Severstal Russian Steel”) has increased the generation of own electrical power and reached record figures.
CherMK generated 950.37 million kW of electricity in the first quarter. It makes up 67.2% of the total demand of the plant. It is by 5.7% more than in Q1, 2013.
