FAS recommended Gazprom to purchase pipes directly from producers

FAS has completed the consideration of the case in respect of the large diameter pipes’ producers – TD TMK CJSC, OMK-Steel OJSC, ChTPZ Group CJSC, Izhora pipe plant CJSC. The actions of the pipe producers were proved acceptable but Gazprom was recommended to purchase pipes directly from producers.

In the process of the case consideration FAS found out the main supplier of large diameter pipes to the objects of route gas pipelines of Gazprom OJSC are “North European Pipe Project” LLC, “Trade House Truboprovod” LLC and StroiPromDetal LLC. These companies don’t have their own capacities on the production of large diameter pipes and purchase goods from the Russian pipe companies with their further supply to the projects of Gazprom OJSC.
