In Q3, NLMK increased steel production by 3% to 3.897 million tons, including the growth at NLMK-Kaluga by 0.1 million tons.
The loading of steel smelting capacities of the Group was 96%, including 99% at the main production site in Lipetsk, 90% at the Sort division sites, and 76% at the foreign divisions sites.
Total metal items sales were 3.719 million tons, by 55,000 tons less than in Q2, due to reduction in cast iron sales by 90% or by 82,000 tons. Ready steel sales increased by 6% to 2.896 million tons due to the seasonal improving in demand, and its share increased as well. The sales of the products with high added value increased by 2.1% to 1.411 million tons. Sort steel sales increased by 17%.
