In October, metallurgists decreased average daily production of rolled metal by 8.1%

From the beginning of October, 2013, metallurgic enterprises of the Ukraine decreased their average daily production of rolled metal by 8.1% as compared with the average rate of September to 72.1 thousand tons, the press centre of Metallurgprom reports.
In this period, the average daily production of cast iron reduced by 8.4% to 74.6 thousand tons, and steel by 10.9% to 79.9 thousand tons.
“The fall of the production level is caused by low demand for metal. In these conditions, numerous overhauls and scheduled repairs of main facilities are carried out at metallurgic enterprises,” – the report says.
