OMK’s casting and rolling shop has launched a shredder metal production utility. The new equipment has made the first batch of 2ASh scrap metal at a rate of 4,500 tons. The utility is meant for the high level technological processing of scrap metal via its crushing and purifying from non-ferrous metal admixtures. Its annual capacity is 1 million tons of crushed metal (shrot). The total investment into the project will be 1.8 billion rubles.
