Locals don’t allow Alrosa to develop Malaya Kuonapka

Diamonds of Anabar (a part of Alrosa) has suspended the license works at the alluvial deposit of diamonds at Malaya Kuonapka river with Maspaky tributary in Yakutia at the demand of the local population, the Minister of Nature Protection of Yakutia Sahamin Afanasiev reports.

"This is the first time that the public managed to suspend the license requirement," – Afanasiev said.
