In May, scrap metal supplies to MMK increased by 45.5% to 239,200 tons versus April 2014 (by 27.1% less than in May 2013). Growth in scrap metal purchase was the same in March, and even 113% in April. In January – May, purchase reduced to 592,500 tons, by 22% less than in 2013, and by 28% less than in 2012.
