Development of the Bering Basin may receive the status of “priority development territory”

Plenipotentiary of the Russian President in the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev has promised to submit the project on development of the Bering coalfield to the Commission for the selection of investment projects and territories of priority development at the next meeting, the press centre of the Chukotka autonomous district reports.

According to Yuri Trutnev, the main efforts are currently focused on the establishment of the regulatory framework, which is necessary for the implementation of the law about priority development territories. It is expected that this work will be completed by the end of March.
