Severstal actively participates in projects of KAMAZ

Severstal, one of the leading vertically integrated steel-smelting and mining companies in the world, has increased its share in purchases of KAMAZ by 8 points in 2013 as compared with the last year.
Preliminary results of work in 2013 and perspectives of the cooperation in 2014 were discussed between Severstal and KAMAZ at the coordination council in Naberezhnye Chelny.
The parties discussed issues concerning development of new high-strength steel grades. In 2013, Severstal started industrial supplies of straight bands through Severstal SMTs-Kolpino to Naberezhnye Chelny. The companies agreed to develop and coordinate program of technical cooperation on mastering of perspective innovative steel grades in 2014-2015.
