Nord Gold to mine more than 26 tons of gold in 2013

Nord Gold announced the operation results of Q3 and the nine-month period of 2013. In Q3 gold production made up 244.7 thousand ounces of gold equivalent – by 26% more than in Q3, 2013 (194 thousand ounces) and by 5% more than in Q2, 2013 (232.6 thousand ounces). For the first nine months 2013 the production has made up 661 thousand ounces – by 28% more than in 2012.
The growth of gold mining is conditioned by a number of factors, particularly, the mining at Neryungri and Aprelkovo increased by 63% and 40% respectively. Total production at both mines made up 33.6 thousand ounces.
