Gold and tin production is up in Khabarovsk region

The enterprises in Khabarovsk region increased placer gold production twice up to 0.56 tons since the start of washing season, press-service of the regional government stated.

“Such figures have been mainly reached owing to early spring. We managed to start development at the beginning of May. Readiness of the enterprises played a major role too. Gold-mining cooperatives “Far-Eastern resources” and “Vostok”, which operate in the area named after P.Osipenko and Nikolaevo district, showed the best results,” deputy head of the department for subsurface use of the regional Ministry of Environment A.Volkov said.
