Due to the fall of ruble exchange rate and growth in sales Chelyabinskk zinc plant significantly increased proceeds and profit

On December 11, Chelyabinsk zinc plant, the largest Russian producer of zinc and zinc based alloys, announced its consolidated financial results for the first nine months.

The revenue of the Chelyabinsk zinc plant made up 18 291 million rubles, which is by 65% more than in the first nine months of 2014.

EBITDA amounted to 4 800 million rubles and was equal to 26% of the revenue.

The net profit was 4 120 million rubles or 23% of the revenue as compared to 1637 million rubles net profit in the first nine 9 months 2014.
