UC Rusal to reject imported processing equipment up to 2020

The engineering and construction division (ECD) of UC Rusal plans to supply about 180 units of processing equipment to the company’s enterprises before 2020, which will allow the aluminum giant to completely abandon the purchase of imported counterparts, the company reports.
“The characteristics of the UC Rusal’s processing equipment correspond to the best foreign analogues, but are cheaper by 40%. In mass production, they will be cheaper by at least two times," - said general director of UC Rusal, Vladislav Soloviev.
