EVRAZ KGOK improves the quality of iron ore raw materials

At the ball milling plant of EVRAZ KGOK the capital repair of the equipment complex of sintering unit #2 is over. The expenditure for the recovery works exceeded 50 mln roubles. In the process of repair works the cooler of the sintering unit has been recovered, forced draft units, electric filters and conveyor tracts have been repaired.

Serious works were held upon the replacement of the collector of burnt gas and revision of the aspiration system. In total about 200 tons of metal construction, units and equipment were assembled.

The held works gave an opportunity to improve the quality of the produced goods: quantity in agglomerate has become stable, strength and basic capacity characteristics have improved. Due to the replacement of equipment, the influence on the environment has fallen down, the labor conditions or workers improved.
