An affiliate of “Norilsk Nickel” carries out the reconstruction of the enterprise.
There started industrial testing of the gas treatment complex (bag collector) for exhaust gas cleaning of the melting furnace at the refinery workshop.
The new aggregate replaces 4 electric filters. As opposed to the former equipment, the bag filter is able to keep 99% of the dust. The dust contains nickel, copper, cobalt in large quantities, which are sent back to production after the filtration. According to specialists, new technologies save over 110 tons of ferrous metals a year.
