UGMK organizes another lead production capacity

“Uralelectromed” OJSC (in the structure of UGMK) realizes a project of technical retooling of the metallurgical shop at the branch “Production of non-ferrous metals alloys” located in the village of Verkh-Neyvinsky.
The enterprise organizes the production on the output of refined lead of C0 and C1 marks out of secondary raw materials. Its launch is planned for the autumn 2015. The production capacity will make up to 20 thousand tons of refined lead a year that will allow to enter the list of the largest lead producers in Russia. The raw materials basis (about 75%) will be lead cakes containing up to 40% of lead. These are intermediary products produced at the processing of zinc concentrate as well as dust of copper smelting plants of UGMK.
