Rusal expects to make a decision on further action in respect of loss-making and inefficient capacity until the end of Q3 2015, CEO Vladislav Soloviev states.
He stated that a number of plants, primarily Kandalaksh aluminium plant, were on the verge of profitability due to rising production costs, particularly due to the increase in electricity tariffs. At the same time, Vladislav Soloviev added that it was not necessary to stop the production.
