New open-pit coal mine to appear in Kuzbass

IA TASS reports that the structure of one of the largest cold producers in Russia will construct coal pit in the Kemerovo region. A modern company is expected to replace an old mine named after Dzerzhinsky, built in 1935.
According to the director of the company “Energii-NK” A.Tikhonsky, they are about to construct open-pit coal mine in 2-2.5 years. An annual capacity might make up 2-3 million tons of coal.
