Rosatom and Kazatomprom initiated the discussion of the issue of a nuclear power plant's (NPP) construction in Kazakhstan. N.Kapparov, the head of Kazatomprom, and N.Spassky, the international Block director of Rosatom, discussed the implementation of the Comprehensive Program of the Kazakh-Russian cooperation in the field of nuclear energy, noting that the steps to create a mining enterprises and access to enrichment services have already been successfully implemented. N.Kapparov made a reference visit to the Ural Electro Chemical Plant (UECP). The discussion on the issues of further bilateral cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation continued in Moscow, where the Kazatomprom delegation flew after visiting UECP.
