Kazzinc reduced zinc and lead output

In H1 2015 Kazzzinc (Kazakhstan) reduced zinc output by 10% (against H1 2014) to 89.2 thousand tons, Glencore reports (owner of Kazzinc). The fall of zinc production was connected with the reduction of its content in concentrate produced at the Maleevsky mine.

Lead output fell by 30% to 8 thousand tons while copper production rose by 265 to 24 thousand tons (due to the growth of loading of capacities).

Gold production stayed almost unchanged and made up 247 thousand troy ounces, silver output fell by 30% to 1.318 mln troy ounces.
