Severstal reports about increase of performances by results of the second quarter

Today, Severstal announced its operating results for the second quarter and the first six months of 2014.
- The steel production increased by 5% as compared to the previous quarter due to the growth of the production in the division Russian Steel, as well as in the division Severstal North America.
- Consolidated sales of steel products increased by 10% due to seasonal growth of the demand on the Russian steel market, strong export markets (for the division Russian Steel) and strong demand in the USA (for the division Severstal North America).
