In Q1, ARMENAL increased production and exports

In Q1, the ARMENAL foil rolling plant, a member of UC Rusal increased aluminum production by 14.1% to 6,856.6 tons. The Customs Service of Armenia reports that within the period exports increased by 18.4% to 6,984 tons. Exports increased in cash equivalent by 16.2% to $22 million. The plant shared 6.0% in total exports from Armenia, and over 90% in total exports to the USA. The Tax Service reports that in Q1 the plant increased allocations to the state budget by 33.7% to 400.0 million drams.
