Kazakhstan. Steel production is up 14% to 4 mln tons in 2014

There was produced 3.993 million tons of crude steel in Kazakhstan in January-December 2014 (+14% y-o-y). Statistics agency of the Ministry of National Economy states.

According to the agency, ferroalloy production made up 1.715 million tons over the reporting period (+0.5%), flat mill products – 2.537 million tons (+11.4%), galvanized roll stock – 527 thousand tons (+2.6%).
