Arcelor Mittal Krivoy Rog reduced rolled products output in 2014 by almost 2%

Arcelor Mittal Krivoy Rog (Dneptropetrovsk region) on the results of 2014 reduced the output of rolled products by 1.9% against 2013 – to 5 mln 555.4 thousand tons.
According to the press release of the enterprise, steel making in 2014 fell by 2.2% to 6 mln 291.4 thousand tons, cast iron – by 1.1% to 5 mln 546.6 thousand tons.
In December the enterprise produced 445.2 thousand tons of rolled products, 502.1 thousand tons of steel and 440.4 thousand tons of cast iron.
“The enterprise’s activity in December 2014 was mainly complicated by the lack of supplies of electric energy in the country in general, and that negatively reflected on our production level. That a month we received by 30-40% less of electric energy a day.
