The net debt of Mechel makes up $8.3 billion.
The Arbitration court of the Chelyabinsk region has satisfied the claim of “NOVATEK-Chelyabinsk” LLC, a subsidiary of OJSC “NOVATEK”, on the collection of about 400 million roubles from the Chelyabinsk metallurgical plant (ChMK, part of Mechel), they said in the court.
“NOVATEK-Chelyabinsk” LLC has applied to the court against Mechel for payment of 396.6 million roubles, including the price for the gas, supplied in May 2014, and delay fee. The defendant noted the sum of the debt made up 387.7 million roubles.
