MMK Group increased steel production 5.2% to 3.183 mln tons in Q2

MMK Group (Magnitogorsk Iron-and-Steel works and its subsidiaries) increased steel production by 5.2% to 3.183 million tons in Q2 against Q1, 2016, runs the company’s statement.
Steel production increased by 0.2% and reached 6.208 million tons in H1, 2016 year-on-year.
The shipment of steel products by MMK Group increased by 7.7% in the second quarter, 2016 compared to the first one and made up 3 million tons. It increased by 2.9% to 5.7 million tons in H1 year-on-year.
