Mechel reduces production of bar section and doubles production of stock steel

In 2015, Steel Division of the leading Russian mining and metallurgical company Mechel increased the production of steel and cast iron by 1% and 3%, respectively, to 4.321 and 4.065 million tons.
In the structure of production, the output of bar section products dominated, the production of which decreased by 7% to 2.743 million tons. Metalware, the production of which decreased by 10% to 692 thousand tons is at the second place.
