Prosecutor’s office detected violations at the “Nurkazgan” mine of Kazakhmys

The Prosecutor’s office inspected the mine “Nurkazgan” and Kuu-Chekinsk open-pit mine together with the workers and officials of the department of emergency services. They both belong to “Kazakhmys” Corporation. Inspectors have figured out that the enterprises do not meet industrial safety requirements.
Most of the violations have been detected at the mine “Nurkazgan”. There are emergency lights, special fencing and signs not everywhere. Video cameras are out of operation. The brakes of the jib crab are out of order.
