Chelyabinsk zinc plant increased net profit under RAS by 6.5 times in Q1 2015

The revenue rose by 2.4 times to 5.846 bln roubles, gross profit – by 3.7 times to 2.266 bln roubles, pre-tax profit – by 6.4 times and made up 1.848 bln roubles.
The net profit of Chelyabinsk zinc plant OJSC under RAS in Q1 2015 rose by 6.5 times and made up 1.474 bln roubles against the profit of 226.041 mln roubles in Q1 2014.
Sales profit rose by 6.7 times and made up 1.847 bln roubles against 278.923 mln roubles in Q1 2014.
In Q1 2015 Chelyabinsk zinc plant increased zinc and zinc alloys output by almost 1% to 44.884 thousand tons against Q1 2014 (44.503 thousand tons).
