UC Rusal will produce first aluminum batch in Boguchany in November

UC Rusal will produce first aluminum batch at the Boguchany plant in November. Its total annual capacity is 600,000 tons of liquid aluminum, the CEO of UC Rusal O. Deripaska says. Construction of the plant is performed within 2 stages. The first starting complex with capacity of 296,000 tons will start operation in 2014. Mr. Deripaska claims production at the plant will be by 15% cheaper in comparison with others, as they have own hydro power plant.
