MMK to spend over 300 mln roubles to implement new technology

MMK will master the output of materials with unique characteristics. The project will be realized on the basis of the mill-5000.

MMK will master the innovative process of flat rolled products production with unique characteristics. The economic effect from the implementation of the technology will amount to 164 mln roubles a year, the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Chelyabinsk region reports.

The joint project of MMK OJSC and scientists of the Magnitogorsk State Technical University n.a. G. Nosov for the third time won the All-Russia competition for the foundation of a high-tech production. MMK was the initiator of the project “Innovative process of production of import-replacing nano-constructive flat rolled products with unique complex of mechanic characteristics” and the university supported it as a the main executor.
