The Ukraine will be lit and warmed up in exchange for electricity for the Crimea.
Before the New Year Moscow and Kiev yet signed a contract for the supply of 1.5 GW for the Ukraine in 2015. In return, the Ukraine agreed to close the energy deficit of the Crimea, and Russia can unlock the supply of coal for Ukrainian thermal power plants, stopped in November. The intermediaries of Rinat Akhmetov were eliminated from the electricity supply chain in the Crimea, but kilowatt-hours for the consumers in Crimea will not be cheaper, and the budget subsidies on energy of the Crimea will even grow to 12.3 billion roubles.
