UGMK starts underground mining at Safyanovsk deposit.

The first starting complex was put into operation, and the first tons of ore from the underground deposit of JSC "Safyanovskaya med", the construction of which UMMC started in 2010. 20 thousand tons of ore were expected to be mined there until the end of 2014. In 2015, this figure should reach 140 thousand tons of copper ore. It is expected that its design capacity of 500 thousand tons of ore underground mine will be reached in 2017.
