New cutting mills have been installed at NTMK

The modernization of production capacities goes on at Evraz NTMK. Along with the reconstruction of the metallurgical capacities the equipment at the auxiliary shops is being replaced.
At the end of last year new band resaw machines used for cutting rolled products were installed at the shop on repair of metallurgical equipment #3. The produced materials are used for the production of spare parts.
New machines work in the automated mode, the built-in controller manages the process. The operator needs only to enter the cutting parameters and the machine goes on working by itself. The mill with the help of the built-in laser makes the necessary measurements and a thin band cuts the material.
