Azovsteel reduced rolled products output by almost a quarter in 2014

The metallurgical plant Azovsteel (Mariupol, Donetsk region), which is in the structure of Metinvest of R. Akhmetov, on the results of 2014 reduced the output of rolled products, by 22.3% against 2013 – to 3.251 mln tons, Ukrrudprom reports.
A representative of the enterprise reported that steel output in 2014 fell by 19.5% to 3.599 mln tons, cast iron – by 18.1% to 3.151 mln tons. The plant didn’t produce agglomerate due to the shutdown of the agglomeration plant.
