Kazakhstan has temporarily abandoned scrap metal exports

On December 11, 2013, the Government of Kazakhstan has published the order ‘About introduction of the temporal embargo for ferrous scrap metal and waste exports from the territory of Kazakhstan’. The order comes into force within 10 days after the official publishing, and acts within 2 months after its coming into force.
