Gold production made up 0.5 tons, silver production – appr. 2 tons in the Kuril Islands in Jan-June, 2016

They produced nearly 2 tons of gold and 0.5 tons of silver in the Kuril Islands from January to June 2016, they stated in the Ministry of Natural Resources of Sakhalin. There were produced 1.8 and 0.8 tonnes of ore respectively during the same period last year.
