Thai "PTT Exploration and Production" is interested in exploring oil and gas fields of Kazakhstan.

Last week the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Thailand Marat Yessenbayev held a meeting with the Minister of Energy of Thailand Narongchai Akrasani to discuss the current state and prospects of the Kazakh-Thai cooperation in the field of energy and "green" economy, the press service of the Foreign Ministry informs.

"Marat Yessenbayev informed the head of the Thai Energy Ministry on the current socio-economic development of Kazakhstan, the state of the oil and gas industry, nuclear and coal industries, the concept of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the transition to "green"economy, the international exhibition EXPO-2017, as well as shared the main provisions of the President's Address to the Nation "Nurly Jol - way of the future", - the statement informs.
