Chelyabinsk zinc plant plans to increase zinc production to 200 thousand tons

By results of 2015, Chelyabinsk zinc plant was to produce more than 170 thousand tons of commercial zinc. In 2 years, the company intends to increase its production to 200 thousand tons.
According to director of the plant Pavel Izbreht, the main problem, with which the plant faced, was the drop in demand for products and reduced prices of zinc on the LME from $2.2 thousand to $1.550 thousand.
