Production of copper rod and cables developed in Russia

In 2012, the production of cable products by Russian enterprises, which are in the association Elektrocabel, made up 606.2 thousand tons (copper weight) that is by 6.6% more than in 2011, the adviser of the Elektrocabel’s General Director Evgeni Uvarov said in his report at the 2nd All-Russian conference “Copper, brass, bronze: trends of production and consumption”.
