In Jan-August Ukrainian companies reduced ore production

In Jan-August 2014 the Zaporozhie iron ore plant reduced sintering ore production by 1%, the Krivoi Rog iron ore plant decreased ore production by 3.2%, Evraz-Sukhaya Balka- by 0.4%.
The Zaporozhie iron ore plant (Dneprorudnoe, Zaporozhie region) in Jan-August 2014 decreased sintering ore output by 1% against the same period in 2013 to 3.017 mln tons.
A representative of the plant said that in August the Zaporozhie iron ore plant produced 377 thousand tons of ore.
In 2013 the Zaporozhie iron ore plant saved sintering ore production at the level of 2012 – 4.5 mln tons.
