In the first 8 months, the production of non-ferrous metals in Kazakhstan reduced, the country’s Minister of Economy Erbolat Dossaev reported.
"If we talk about problems of metallurgy, the overall growth made up 96.5% - by 2.5% less than the it was forecasted. Very good rates were shown by ferrous metallurgy - 111.8%, but we have a significant fall in the production of basic precious and non-ferrous metals, this is connected with the low production of non-ferrous metals - copper and aluminium,"- said Dossaev.
